Education
Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading. I am currently working on my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction here in Maryland.
Experience
I was a 4th and 5th grade teacher for 6 years. I tutored after school, on weekends, and during summers while I was a teacher. I am currently a stay-at-home mom and grad student. I'd like to continue to work with students as much as possible to stay fresh with curriculum during my time away from the classroom. I have been trained in Guided Reading, Balanced Literacy, Word Study, as well as many math programs. I also have experience teaching earth and physical science,and World History with a focus on Ancient Cultures.
